Post Royal Observer Corp Plaque "FOREWARNED IS FOREARMED"

Well as we near completion of the resto of Middleton Stoney I thought a nice ROC plaque would look nice and also be the "Topping out" of the completion

Hand made by Plane Arts, who are based in the Philippines and cost £66.00, including postage.
It took about 6 weeks to make, but well worth the wait

If you want one Check out the link below through e/bay

I might get one of there plane models as they look good as well

I am making a Nuclear/Fallout prediction map for the post
The lines have been coloured in as per an original UKWMO, HQ map that I have. After I have completed the map I will get it laminated, so that I can then use some original templates on it for a display.
I'll put some pics up when its finished

Glad you like the plaque. It was me who did all the design work for the model company and commissioned the first one to be made last year. I had to draw the plaque by hand in CAD and then send them all the data plus get the correct PANTONE colours from the ROC archive. It took me a while to convince them to offer it for sale on the website.

Here is the pictures they sent me of the prototype last year.

I originally commissioned one just to see how well it would turn out. Once they sent me the pictures of the prototype I ended up ordering 3 of them!

One went to the museum at the Maze, the other is on my wall at home and the third goes in the post during Open Days, I take it out at the end of the day as I think its far to good to leave down there.

It really did turn out MUCH better than I thought it would, for the little money they charged its amazing how much workmanship has gone into it, it really is a quality piece.
