It's Sunday morning, and a light rain is falling in Hull. By the side of the River Humber is a collection of buildings, boarded and derelict. Once this was a thriving place, linked to the shipping and the fishing. Today, a lone fisherman casts his line out into the murky water. Everywhere else is deserted. Todays target is the Riverside Studio, a forgotten photographic studio.

Inside is dark and showing the signs of neglect. Celiings are down, and tiles are missing. This looks like one of the photographic studios.

It was clear that at one time this place would have looked pretty impressive. Wooden panelling remained in places, and impressive doors remained.

Although the ceiling had gone in one of the developing rooms, there was still stuff to see. Yes, those are Penguin wrappers on the wall.

Out of focus remnants on a shelf. (The remants were not out of focus, just the picture)

I loved the staircase. We headed up, and arrived on the landing.

The roof had gone in parts up here. Light rain fell in the roofless parts.

Blackened beams from a long ago fire shine in the rain.

This place was good to visit. The floor in here was not too good though, with huge holes where the wood had rotted through..

This was a small place, but nice to visit. A shot of todays exploring partner The Joiner (not on the forum) as he comes down the stairs.
