Went on a trip to Liverpool. On the way, we were confused by a giant thing which was too bendy to be a building, and ended up geing a giant head alongside the M62 motorway at St Helens. It was awesome but pretty weird too.

- From the Liverpool Echo

Totally stunned by all the empty buildings, but loads were seriously shuttered up, and the easier stuff was still more than we were up for. We went past several rows of houses that were all boarded up. At the end of one we found this little church. We spoke to some guy taking shots of the boarded street, talked shop, and posed for a photo for him.

Can't find any history on this place unfortunately if anyone local knows anything, please add it.

After a bit of a squeeze, we were in.

Completely trashed.

There were loads of cool little things amongst the rubble though.

Both a long way from home

A few books lay around...

This made us smile

But it wasn't all random crap. There were a few cool features mostly intact.

Hardly an exceptional piece of kit. But with a fix up on the electronics it would have been a brilliant machine.

Stained glass.

Ceiling Feature.

We passed a place on princes road that looked insane but it was well boarded and on the market. Between two churches I think. Absolutely insane. Think Liverpool is somewhere we're gonna go back to.
