    Arrow Hertfordshire Quarry 14/3/2010

Hi guys this is my first report! I went on a walk after remembering the death trap of a quarry from my childhood. It is an amazing yet deadly place to hang out. I managed to get halfway up the structure but didn't dare to go any higher not wishing to push my climbing skills to the limit. These are the shots I got, when I manage to climb up this rickety structure I'll post more of the internal building.

The formidable shape of the abandoned quarry looms in the distance

A disconnected power supply within building 2

After walking along a rotting wooden walkway, I reached building 2

The Decaying Building 1 with no safe means of access

Me halfway up the rickety building 1 balancing on a metal beam. There was no other footing to stand on.

    Feel free to comment

Good stuff indeed mate, and, as always, top marks for getting out and getting n and getting out again.
See if you can get the pictures a bit smaller - (the 640 ones are better on the forum, and also look even sharper)

You may or may not want to consider whether you have your face on the forum. It is purely up to you, but many people choose not to, or to blur their faces as they don't want to be recognised.

The floors are a bit dodgy up top but should take your weight. Didn't try climbing the conveyer though...

Thats now the only way to gain access, The steps up have been destroyed and half of the walkway is gone so I had to climb up those treacherous metal bars with about a meter gap lol.

It's a really great place to go but be aware people like to congregate and graffiti a wall in the centre of the place but if you leave them alone they should leave you alone to. I've got to hand it to them though the wall looks a lot better graffiti'd than it did when it wasn't.
