Cant garentee the date as acurate but did this as a nice relaxed climb while renovations where underway to the stonework and the whole thing was shrouded in scaffold

is this somewhere opposite the church thing we climbed last year?

Yes mate its a little further up the river on the newcastle side.
You cant really see it from the top of the church as someone rather inconsideratly put the tyne bridge in the way blocking the view.
