Arrow Elgin Roc Post - Morayshire group - 02/2010

    My first ROC Post

I couldn't believe how close to the road this was...

I couldn't believe I'd never noticed this through the trees before, could I get in?...

This answers my question and is enough reason to hate vandals..

Should I go in? I wasn't sure what to expect..

It looked different from sites I've seen posted on here but for some reason I kind of liked it, maybe it's because I've never been in one before? Maybe it was the bright reds amongst the decay. This has been set on fire? (Looks crispy...) Another reason to hate vandals.

I liked the lighting here... I could have spent all day in this place rummaging around and putting things away in the cupboard.

I was also fascinated by the peeling paint...

    What's the little pipe for?
    (I visited here yesterday, 19/02/2010 with a non-urbex member)

It is the outlet pipe for the sump that you'll see at the bottom of the ladder. The hand pump if still there on the side took the excess water up and out.

Its a shame how some people find fun in setting them on fire, i just hope they get clobbered by setting light to the polystyrene tiles in one some day.

The Carron one is reasonably close to you and it's a pretty good one.

Rubbish ones have their own charm too. Good job on getting out there, and for fans of your other work, good job on getting them out there
