Visited with Judderman. Thanks for driving buddy
And thanks to WIMR for the info
Most of you know the history on the Asylum. But this site does a good job, and makes for absorbing reading anyway.

We have been wanting to visit here for a while now. And given the sorry state she is in, and the fast deterioration, thought it best to go sooner rather than later.
This place has got more holes than a golf course, and very spongy floors indeed. So those of you who are thinking of visiting.... Tread carefully.
After a slight delay, courtesy of the pre programmed lady in the sat nav, who had us park up in the middle of nowhere with only sheep as company, and adamant that we had arrived at our destination! (back to school for you love) We finally arrived in the pretty town of Denbigh.
Now we all know the hype regarding papa smurf and his hound from hell! Yes you know what's coming
He clocked us alright, and slowed down to watch us as we disappeared out of sight. I'm sure this muppet assumes that anything other than a tractor is heading for his beloved Asylum? Well I have news for you grumpy nuts! Your assumptions were correct, but you 'ed this time Better luck next time.
So, on with the pics.
A few externals first.
Looking out where the grand hall used to stand
Mortuary/Morgue
A few holes
Open the door.... Shit no floor
Some stair shots
Or not as the case may be
A few Arty Farty shots
A bit of decay
Accompanied tour anyone
And finally.... It all got a bit too much for Judders
The rest here
