Co-Op Milk Float Depot (LOL) - Leeds - December 08

As part of my "Warts and All" seris of explores which, in the past, have included an abandoned Halfords and a car park, I bring you this, the Leeds Co Op Milk Float Depot. From the state of this place you wouldn't think that 4 months ago it was still open and supplying milk to the good citizens of Leeds

Sadly, no milk floats have been left behind and the place is a complete shithole. Gypos have stolen the copper, the lead and trashed the rest. As far as I can gather, milk deliveries have fallen so much that they just basically packed the whole thing in and fucked off. Some cool 1970s Co Op signage still around though.

While setting up for a shot I noticed what I thought was a very neat and tidy little shrine thing with lots of oriental pictures and symbols, on closer investigation, it was a shrine to drugs and looked very fresh and recently used....I legged it double quick before a drug crazed ex milkman came at me

What would Mr Grimsdale think to it all

Stone from when the place was built, it lasted over 100 years so deserves some kind of record.
