Arrow Cookridge Hospital - Leeds - November 09

Closed in 2008, Cookridge Hospital specialised in cancer reserach and treatment. It was replaced by a new cancer treatment wing at St James with 1700 staff

More information on the old hospital HERE

The old hospital stands in splendid grounds and has some great listed buildings. Security are very very active and most of it is boarded up and very secure. Only a breif visit as I need to understand more about the layout before I return. Lights in here still work as do all the emergency exit signs, freaky.

    Enjoy the pics

    Nurses block, art deco?

    Edwardian research block, lovely.
