Arrow "Sting In The Tail" Mine, West Yorks - Sep 09

Visited by Morrisey, R1, Boboil, Manx, Carabeener and Detritus.

I can't give too much away about this place or it's location, I don't want these superb coal tubs getting wrecked. But I don't think it's been visited or reported before.

We've called it "Sting In The Tail" Mine because it was protected by a wasp's nest and got most of our party at least once!

The place is quite extensive, so a return visit is on the cards.

A little but we had gas detectors, the air was very good and the place well ventilated.

    A fair few collapses though.

there must be a whole load of this sort of thing under Doncaster, although i bet it's deep flooded to the brim and/or gassed up...
