Arrow St Vincent’s Works, Bristol - Sept 09

As part of the Bristol Open Doors day, had to take this place in. Built in 1891 it was a iron works that contributed to both the SS Great Britain & Clifton Suspension Bridge. Part derelict, part restored... the highlight is the offices and some pretty special tile & iron work..

That's mighty fine. Like the stairs shot. Some smashing decor too. I wonder if 100 year the Heritage Open days will include a 1980's industrial estate?

Very nice, the decor reminds me of Victoria Baths in manchester.

I might add it's all Royal Doulton tilework.. it's utterly breathtaking. To think this place was derelict for the best part of 5 years.. would have been some explore!

Wow what a gorgeous interior. I love pic 6! How could this have been left to become derelict? Good job it was rescued.
