Hell's Services and Motel - A40

I saw many great things on my holiday from mint ROC posts to sea forts, abandoned asylums, underground torpedo storage tunnels and a morgue but this has to be one of my faves.

Just off the A40 between Carmarthen and some other Welsh place is this, the servives and motel from hell. This motel must have been abandoned for years, at least the 1980s. It consists of a complete 1970s style services area with petrol station and retro signs, hideous chalet style motel rooms and an overgrown entertainment area.

Couldn't care less if it's not elite exploring, I loved it

Check in time, look mum we've arrived at our motel

I kinda liked this when I saw the report some time back , despite it's mongyiness, then when the firm had a weekend trip to Wales on my way home I passed one like this and swung by and took some shots.

It's only when I started doing some archiving in this section that I realised it was indeed the same place. So , If I may KE, I shall add some of my pics to this report and let it run a little longer before archiving.
