Arrow North Wales Asylum - Denbigh - 29/6/08

Had a few hours in here yesterday and I thought it was fantastic. I know the asylum purists will say it's trashed but for surreal stuff like trees growing in rooms and strange doors that lead to jungle like courtyards it's the tops.

The place is massive and it's always difficult to know where to start in a place like this. Such a shame to see this lovely old building basically falling down all by itsself.

A great place to visit, I recommend it to you espcially if you have a Squirrel to drive you there....top stuff Squirrel

Plenty of familiar names on this wall

    Main east wing

Entrance and cool 70s funky colours

Familiar NHS stuff in among the decay

Main hall, love the disco ball. There are cinema projectors here to but my shots didn't come out.

    Strange service areas

    Loads of these little rooms

    Kitchen area

Some more from round the place

Admin section, the floors here are lethal

    Random ones
