Popped up here a little while ago.

Until 1930 this was Aylsham Union Workhouse, when it was redesignated as a Public Assistance Institution, later becoming St. Michael's Hospital.
The main part closed in 2006, and periphery bits have recently been demolished to make way for a road/housing estate.

This is definitely a case of "don't judge a book by the cover" - outside looks awesome..



.. but inside is totally stripped out.








The only thing of interest was a hydrotherapy pool.



This bit is some sort of skylight. There used to be huge holes in the floors to let the light cascade down to the ground floor.
