Arrow Winstanley Hall, Wigan - Feb 09

Winstanley Hall is a late 16th century house in Wigan, Greater Manchester. It is listed as a Scheduled Ancient Monument and a Grade II listed building. Originally built for the Winstanley family, the building is one of only three Tudor buildings in Wigan.

Ticked this place off my list in Febuary and had a nice wander around albeit bitterly cold. It's a fantastic site although some parts internally are battered but it makes for a really photogenic site. Just watch out for the not_so_friendly Alsatian on the way out fail
