Looks like they are slowly leveling this wonderful site as much of the debirs has been cleared and a few of the blocks flattened..

It was originally a holiday camp for miner's sons built by the welfare commitee of the Ocean Coal Company built with contribution from miners wages, then after the coal industry was nationalised it was transfered to the Boys Clubs movement which was kind of like a scouting organisation. they closed it in the early 90's after that it was a airsoft site for a little while.

It was a really cool place 2 years ago with lots of artifacts remaining including a Triumph Spitfire, i poped in a month or so back for a revisit while i was in the area checking out another lead and the place has been completely stripped of everything.

Ive got some pics if anyone wants to see what it was like.
