    Arrow Jawcraig Brickworks, Fife. 06.03.09

Jawcraig Brick Works in Falkirk date from the inter-war years and were closed in the 1970s. During World War II the works were owned by Stirlingshire Brick Works Ltd, but were under care and maintenance and out of production. At the time of their closure in the 1970s, the works were operated by Craigend Refractories Ltd. The works were rebuilt and re-opened in 1987, but mothballed in 1993.

    This place is grim.
I imagined to find a body and that I was in a tv scene from Taggart.

And an added bonus of a shut pub 2 minutes down the road.
    Sadly sealed shut :/

Did you spot the mini rocking horse?

    YES!!
that's the hotel! Stopped outside it by accident to adjust Betty my sat nav, then Peter was like, hey thats the hotel... had a quick scan but its sealed tight.

And yeah that horse scared the s**t out of me!
The whole vibe of the place did, I guess because it was grey and raining and I expected to find someone hiding in the kilns
