    Arrow Newsome mill-Huddersfield-Report 19/1/8 & 19/4/8. ARCHIVED

I visited Newsome mill, after seeing a report on it in the local newspaper. It has now been saved and is grade 2 listed.

The mill was built in 1880 and features a towering main building , clock tower, office building and part of the weaving sheds. The rest of the weaving sheds have been cleared to make way for housing.

A few from me. The clock tower was the highlight of the explore. There has been a fire in the ground floor so it smells like charcoal in there!
