Arrow Benniworth Tunnel - Lincolnshire - Nov '08

A nice little tunnel on what was the Louth to Bardney railway line. Well done to MagooČ for spotting the anomaly of a shadow on google earth.

Visited at the end of November. It's my first tunnel and I haven't really got the hang of the lighting thing like you regulars but thought this had a nice shape.

    Eastern entrance.

Nice one Muse. Tunnels have great colours in them, and I love the greens on the brickwork. That first silhouette one rocks!

Its an unusual tunnel with having a pointy roof rather than just rounded. good pics!

Very nice, good sillouettes, I agree with Ernie that it is a bit of an unusual shape.

Thanks all. I agree about the shape, it's really unusual with the pointed top.

I didn't do any lightpainting TC, I'm not very good at it to be honest. I just relied on very long exposures. The bright spot in the distance is the other end of the tunnel.

I missed this one too! Good pics for your first tunnel Muse, it is a nice shape-not the usual archness you tend to see.
