After seeing the fine report by TrouserCowboy and Boxfrenzy I have been thinking about this place. The clock tower just looked too tempting.

I paid a quick visit and had a look round. The buildings have been abandoned for about five years when the hunt and its staff moved down the road. It has recently been sold to a developer for conversion. It consists of three main buildings, the hall, the stables and to the rear some large kennel buildings.

There is an onsite security man living in a caravan in the stable square. He was obviously listening to his music so I had full run of the place. The clock is well worth seeing as are the old style kennels.
