History

The aptly named crooked house located in a small village on the Essex/Hertfordshire border really has no history. Rumor has it that a elderly couple lived there and that when the husband died the wife was unable to cope with managing this house so she was moved to a care home. The house and surrounding land has been sold and as usual planning permission has been granted to demolish the old house and turn it in to housing.

The explore

Visited with a non explorer the house was easy to find once you looked at the clues and once there we where amazed that this place has lasted so long with relatively little theft and what seems to be no vandalism. However the fences are moving in for demolition so if you want to pay the place a visit you may want to act fast. You also get that weird feeling of looking in on somebody's life as your looking through there possessions and organizing them for photos.

Love the processing, the 2nd shot of the mirror is great.

I went back here Sunday and it's all looking good, actually found myself sitting on the chair in front of the organ and just chillin.
