Hi everyone, This isn't a real exploration in the true vein of the site as it's not a building, but as it's my first post, and it was my starting point for urban exploration, I thought I would share it.
I stumbled across this field in Ardleigh, near Colchester in Essex a few years ago, there was about 50 vehicles on site, most of which have been there for well over 20 years, the field was rented by the retired owner of a local transport firm who had been collecting old lorries, vans and cars for many years, rumour has it that it was to be his retirement fund, however this would have been a smart move if he could have kept them under cover!
There was security cameras cover the only entrance, but nobody ever came looking for me, in the end I stumbled across the owners son through my day job, I told him I had been looking around his fathers field, and he said it was fine to go there whenever I wanted.
I popped back last summer to find that the whole site had been cleared, I now wish that I had spent more time there.
