    Default Goodwick Railway Station

Goodwick Railway station was opened in 1899 and was a lovley little timber constructed station. However it was closed in 1964 due to lack of use. The only train that passes through now is the one to Fishguard Harbour which runs twice a day. This has been recently demolished so I thought Id stick some photos up. There is plans for an increase in rail traffic but whether or not they will stop here is another matter.

Not a lot to see, but it was worth recording before it got knocked down.
