    Default Bolton Steam Museum 10/9/11

    The museum was open for the Heritage Open Weekend. Captain Cave Man's report from May shows the scale of the place, so most of these photos concentrate on the detail.

    Silent Hill might be interested to know that the beam engine in the background of this shot is a neighbour of ours - it came from Cellarsclough Mills in Marsden.

    r u following my foot steps ! lol.....nice to see some one else going to the steam museums .......nice pics, if you can get to papplewick pumping station in nottingham......well worth the travel......cheers for the link to my post too, did you bump into alf ?.......
