Muckleburgh weekend June 2011
After a slow non photographic start on Friday evening, mainly due to the rain and exhibitors only just turning up ready for the Saturday morning start.
Returning mid Saturday afternoon pulling up short of the car park attendants, we phoned a friend exhibiting for the weekend who kindly came to the gate and waved us down to get us in.
Shortly after we started a run round to look at what was on display picking up on the tank display that was already in full swing when we arrived it seemed like the time to get the cameras out and make a start…

Walking back round to our contacts exhibit, I made an effort on manual settings on the camera and improved massively over the weekend.

With all manner of vehicles from different eras and countries around it was well worth a look. So, next stop was the Germans camp, with authentic field kitchen and conveniently a FLAK gun

As we left it late on the Saturday everyone was winding up and heading to get food or go home for the night, so after a quick run around the site to see what we could see we headed off to get some food from town then headed back to the site for beers and chatter.
On the Sunday morning, sun was shining, and we headed back down armed with a 1 person re-enactors/ campers pass and headed straight through the gates. While DJ Oska was chatting to someone from our camp I headed round the site to look at some of the other exhibits.
