RAF West Beckham was a former Chain Home Radar base located in Norfolk. RAF West Beckham opened in 1938 and closed in 1958. During the war the base had large amounts of security including Royal Norfolk Regiment Troops. After the war just a Handful of Military Police were considered enough.
I have also been told that a Scottish troop was based here during the war days. This is the army camp for the said troops etc situated not too far from the Radar station and often gets mistaken for the WAAF camp which was a little further away. I will follow this thread up with the WAAF camp and the Radar station as well, I need to return for some better photos as it rained hard during my visit. Most of the buildings are now used as chicken sheds.
On with the shots:

I believe these were the billets.

These buildings seemed more like the kitchens and canteen.

These looked like some kind of storage rooms.

Loved this window.

The kitchen area I think judging by the flues through the ceiling, dont know.

The rear of what I think was the Kitchen.

The only room with a fire place.

Existing light switch.

I have been told that this is the amunition store.

Bathroom area of one of the billets.

Inside the other Billet.

Thanks for looking.
