Pinderfields was originally stanley royd acute hospital, when it became pinderfields they shared the mortuary with stanley royd till it closed. since then it has been used up until about 2 months ago purely by pinderfields.

The chapel that we have all explored was again used by both hospitals till its closure.



There is another window like this in the chapel dedicated to pinderfields.



its mentioned above, pinderfields is due to be demolished within 2 years as the new hospital is built. the new mortuary is up and running quite close to the converted stanley royd wards.
