Arrow Thornseat Lodge, Bradfield Jan 2011

The first place visited Recently by Ceejam, Noodles and myself on the same day we did the chapel
    in Loxley.

Again as it was sheffield area and same day as the Chapel we wanted to dedicate this report to the
memory of Bucolic aka Mozaz, 0742 et al.

Thornseat lodge was originally built as a shooting Lodge for a Wealthy steel maker by the name of
William Jessop. It later became a childrens home in the 1930's and remained one until it closed
in the 1980's. Since then it has been allowed to deteriorate into the state it is in now.

It is in very poor state indeed and bit of a death trap so care is needed if having a wander
    around this lovely place.

    WJ William Jessop

There is the odd small hole in some of the floors

Quick route to the basement .... not recommended.

    Said basement
