Arrow J Crabtree & Sons plus adjoining buildings. Jan 2011

John Crabtree & Sons and the block comprising of Water Lane, Wigan Street, Sunbridge Rd & Paradise St.

Come on Converse; you at the back get a move on!

Yes I know it's been done by just about everyone but here's my take on this rather nice block of buildings in Bradford. Visited over two dates one with Mrs Converse (who enjoyed it more than I thought! ) and the other joined by SS.

The block appears to have been built on the site of a former Iron founders between 1895 & 1908. Thats enough of the history for now, on to the pics.

    Exteriors

    Sample room and desk.

    Ancient coat.

    Samples label.

    Old PA system.

    Sand buckets.

    Victorian Iron.

Mill floor mushrooms, the best you can get!

    Straight to the top!

    Love these old doors.

Where urbex chairs go on holiday!

    Ideal storage?

    Ah! Toilet and kettle combo

    A rather fine fireplace.

    Out into the mill yard.

    Stairway.

    Directors office.

Thanks for looking, hope there are a few different views here, really liked this place; very big and lots to see.

Thanks also to TC for his heads up on this place!

Lovely shots there - and some different views too. Love that PA system, great spot that
@Canonite - the fireplace was in the room with the computer storage, the first room you came to as you went down the stairs with the emergency doors off them

weh hey! More ace shots here. I love this place because even though it's been done to death at the moment, everyone has their own take on it, and shows me something I missed! Good stuff
