Default Never Judge A Drain By Its Entrance!!!

NEVER JUDGE A DRAIN BY ITS ENTRANCE!
The entrance to a well known Australian (Melbourne) drain...

Half an hour of this... actually, never judge a drain by its lack of features... well this one anyway

Eventually you crawl up to a side tunnel that comes to a lake overflow.

You then get wet feet climbing out!

A good drain? You might scream "No way Doug!", then why have hundreds of explorers done it over the years?

Maybe because if you do it on a certain weekend you can walk a few meters and get a beer or two...

and then watch the Formula 1 Grand Prix!

Everyone in this photo paid $100 to get in with dry feet!

    Except for us (above).

The only thing to do with good advice is pass it on. It is never any use to oneself.
