Its not a full tour, but seeing as Fountains Abbey is missing from this site I thought I'd post up some night shots.
Daytime shots are done to death on Flickr and other similar sites...
Situated just outside Ripon, North Yorkshire.
Now a National Trust site it was founded by Benedictine Monks in 1132, it operated for over 400 years until the dissaloution of the monasteries by Henry the VIII in 1539.
Shame really, because they didn't finish the tower until 1526.
Didn't have much time to enjoy it did they?
Big site, very much worth a Visit.

Somewhere i've not been yet, and would like to go. Very nice shots indeed - and KE is spot on, the moon one is very good

I've had a wander round here lots of times, it's lovely in winter too. Quite expensive to get in though.
