Hello all, here is a report on Forest Mills factory in Nottingham.
Forest Mills was constructed in the early 1800s, and mostly closed down in the 1960s,
due to the failure of the company to upgrade their means of production to modern machinery.
During the 1960s, the factory buildings had a number of uses, including a car repair centre called Wheelbase (which was used to train local youths in skills as a means of tackling crime), furniture workshops, a prostitute outreach centre (which closed in 2007) and quite a few offices.
