I had a wee wander round this a while ago - unfortunately all photo's taken on a lightweight digital camera and no tripod so the quality ain't great ...it's up near Giggleswick.
It was built in 1873 for the Craven Lime Company and had 22 individual burning chambers...
Anywho have a ganders....
A few externals...
And up on top - looking down the shafts...
The pictures don't capture just how big the tunnels are - they run in a circle all the way round - I fancy doing this again with some cool lighting if anyone is up for it?
