Default Durham Cathedral, photographers open evening

I feel a bit soft posting this, i havent been out exploring as such lately but i'm still around, honest!

Anyhow, i got a chance through a UE mate to go to Durham and take a few photos where normally its not allowed, so i wasn't going to pass up the opportunity!
A word of advice tho, a 40d doesnt sit well on a velbon mini, as i found out when my big velbon decided to break on me...... (rip Velbon, you lasted me soooo well)

    Anyhow, pics

Once an exporer, always an explorer.... its a shame the door to this yummy looking corridor was locked, and i had left my picks at home!

an enjoyable evening.... i haven't been up in the tower since i was about 12 years old, so that was fun to do, and it was nice to just wander around, despite tripod fail!!!
