Got any details on the location of the item in Denmark & any pictures of the roller next to it?

They are comfortable. just a pain in the ass when they go wrong. in one of those 2 photos you can see my new car

and the sound of the windscreen on mine cracking as the other one was put ontop is still etched in my mind....

The vehicle is in a private motor museum called Egeskov veteran car museum, Egeskov castle, Egeskovgade 18 5772, kvaerndrup

It has its own website which is as follows: www.egeskov.dk the page can be accessed in english aswell.

they dont appear to have been touched for many years and they just stand outside.

unfortunatly there are no pictures of the roller. dad cant remember what it was but he says it was open with no canopy and deffinatly wasnt steam.
The museum is now closed for the winter and is only open in the summer months.
This was one of his own finds I was safely in England at this point in time.

Some fantastic old vehicles in this thread. Takes me back to when me and my friends used to mooch around the old abonded scrap yard. I always remember there was an abonded 6-wheeled amphibious vehicle we used to 'play' in. Ahh to be 12 again.
Reminds me of a place I found between Dumfries and Dalbeattie in SW-Scotland near the old munitions plant. I found an old abandoned crane in a shed.

Who owns some of these things? Would be great to somehow take ownership and restore some of them. I love finding old abandoned plant items.

Not so much a abandoned vehicle, but a abandoned Blackstone engine. This is the stanby diesel incase of power loss at RAF Sculthorpe.
It is massive and still stands with its control panels and huge dynamos. It was started with compressed air, all of which remains intact.
The photo does its size no justice at all, its unbeleivable and must be seen, must of sounded pretty awsome.
