Yep! The same one the fine gentlemen that are Gambino and Em Jay Jess did about a week before, after meeting them (Not the first time, its a very small world!) and having a wander round Thackley Tunnel, Gambino was kind enough to point out the in's and out's of this place and wanting to gain some underground experience so we werent in complete n00bs when we did further drains with them we thought we would have a look-see! Thank you to them both! :thumb

Working our way up the pipes we were very surprised how quite clean there were

Up some steps and your faced with another tube

The processing room. About 15mins of taking pictures inside here the overflow tank (?) began to fill with force with a huge continuing noise, me and fowleandclough panicked! Not knowing where this huge noise was coming from we scrambled up a near by ladder, mega shaken and with the pool filling we packed up and got out as fast as possible. Im now sure we were safe but due to the fact weve never done underground and knowing the dangers I can honestly say we pretty shaken up!

Nice work, this I'm gonna check out next time I'm in the area.

The CSO would take some filling before overflowing, had it been raining, as due to it being combined would explain the increase in levels.

I was in a CSO the other week that literally did fill up, with my goodself almost swimming in the fresh, luckily I made it up the ladders in record time. CSO's can be a bit unpredictable, but are usually fine if it's been dry for a couple of days.

Top pictures, good effort, I will haul my arse down there soon :)
