DeMontfort University Bedford July 2010

In 2006 there was an educational merger with the Bedford campus of DeMontfort University
its name was changed to The University of Bedfordshire and relocated to a central site.
They focused on performance & arts.

Before the merger they had a number of large sites scattered throughout Bedford.
This also includes whole streets of houses (former student accommodation) swimming pool & gyms being sold off for redevelopment.

So feeling the need for a little sunday afternoon explore we decided have a look and see what the place had to offer ?.
As it was a hot afternoon the idea was, headed for a quick change and on to the pool.
It didnt quite work out that way.

We began to realise very quickly the breast stroke was out of the question.
Not disheartened we decided to head for the gym.
So on with the plimsolls.
