Well I finally bought a new lens yesterday to replace the one I broke last month, and to mark the occasion, that evening, I dragged it around the WW2 Road of Remebrance Bunker in Folkestone.
It's thought that it was a communications centre that was part of the network feeding information from shipping in the channel back to the Enigma project in Bletchley Park. There's also a wartime diary entry stating that military misinformation was sent to the enemy from here during the build-up to D-Day.
The fact that there seems to be hardly any information on this place leads me to think that the above is true.
On with the pics. Starting with a plan.
