Hi All, this is my first report on here so be gentle!

I'm sure most people know about this place but heres the info:-

Megatron is a culverted section of the river Sheaf in Sheffield, which goes underneath the railway station and then briefly above ground before going back underneath ponds forge and eventually outfalling into the river Don.

For most of the time its a 3-tunnel affair with arches between the tunnels so you can switch between them if the water gets a bit deep!

Visited this place with my cousin a few weeks ago while it was pretty dry. :thumb

Waterstairs bit near the entrance after you turn left..

There was a fair bit of rubble down there, hard on the ankles...

Me posing in my stylish wad0rz near the end of the first section...

My cousin standing under the awesome brick arch towards the end...http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i244/Andypandy_bucket/megatron/IMG_0870.jpg

Thanks for looking. :ty

drop me an email at andywoodhead088 (at) hotmail (dot) com if you wanna have a look, they are doing refurbishment work on some sections during the day but late evening there is no-one about. I've been down there 3 times now conducting 'Megatron Tours' for all my friends who wanted to see it! :D
