Very nice mate, I love old dock cranes. I remember trying to find a way into the ones in Bristol docks when I was a kid.

look very similar to the old swan hunter cranes on the tyne that went to india last year

IIRC the last time Inchgreen was used to fabricate anything was the "Valiant" jetty for Faslane - there's already a floating dock there, so this is just a glorified mooring. Albeit it's the same length, and displaces as much, as an aircraft carrier ...
Nice cranes - were these built by Arrols?

Anywho, I like the look of the old dock cranes, I can see the Excel centre ones from work...all nicely painted and sitting empty :(
