Well,
Decided to have another look-see at this place after the trouble getting in last time a year ago (Guards, CCTV, PIR alarms, etc) All gone now, this time its much easier to get in (No climbing involved :coffee).
The pikies have been at it with this place since last Autumn, all wiring stripped out (including the alarms) & general destruction inside.. Pigeons have taken up residence. Its looking like Doncaster council have abandoned the place to its fate....
Completed in 1911 to facilitate needed education places, it was a 300 pupil girls high school up until it was merged with Doncaster Grammar school in 1970. In later years it became part of the college campus site & since the college has moved across the town, this place had been vacated. Lots of paraphernalia about exams dated 1998 at the latest
