Glenfiddich Lodge - Morayshire - May 2010 - Report

Explored here today with Wurzel, Zombiesazza, The Surveyor and another friend Dean who isn't on any of the forums.
From what I can find on the internet this lodge has records dating back to 1773 This is a fair size of lodge and consists of the Hunting Lodge, several houses, a sawmill and kennels. Site is getting very run down now floors getting sketchy and ceilings looking like they are about to collapse but the brickwork is still strong.
On arrival we thought we would be able to drive up slowly along a road through a unlocked gate to it but ended up getting chased by the gamekeeper who came tanking along the grass in his landrover and up a bank and blocked the road in front of us. I think he was trying to pretend he was in The A Team. He had a real attitude on him saying we were not allowed in with cars but we could walk in we stayed polite and parked at end of road and walked to save any arguments. So if anyone else fancies going up park by the gate .
