There's quite a lot of history on this boy's home on previous reports so I'll just give you a brief overview. St. Edward's Home for homeless boys was opened at Coleshill (Warwickshire), 6 November, 1906, as an outreach project to help children born unto single catholic mothers.

Over time, the birth rate dropped, and the stigma of being a single mother lessened. Together with the more recent advent of the Children's Act and other legislation, fewer and fewer children were being taken 'into care' and the need for large children's homes receded. By 1988, the home had closed.

This site is set amongst live buildings (an adoption centre and some old people's homes I believe) so there are people milling around. I've read about a dubious past and 'rumours' attached to this building but no-one seems to specify what those rumours are so I can't elaborate! Anyway.... pics:
