I stopped to have a look and discovered the concrete cap had been broken, I had no torch or gear so me and iSaw returned a day later to have a look.
Very tight squeeze to get in.
And then Disapointment.
Post is flooded, maybe 4 inches deep, walls are running with water, it has been on fire and has been badly vandalised.
Opened in May 1958
Closed in October 1968
