Tal-y-fan was built as part of Denbigh Asylum in 1933, I think it closed in 2002, but cant seem to find much information about the building. It is situated about 5 mins walk as the crow flies from the main part of the hospital, near the Regional Center for Children with Autism, which closed recently.
Largely untouched inside, which is suprising, but I guess its kind of protected by being a walk away from the main site, and being close to a complex that until now has been live.

a mate of mine recced this in 2004 days after it originally closed after the denbigh site was sold, saw someone asking about it in the chat thing and found this report , so heres some of his pics if thats ok
