At first I thought I had discovered a lost plantation bungalow, but upon getting closer,
the familiar design of a 1930's era district officers house became more apparent.

Whilst here, naughty monkeys watched us the whole time, sat perched up in their
trees, clutching recently won war booty from a successful garbage raid.

The house as it stands today, isn't much to look at, but it still saddens me to see
colonial bungalows abandoned like this. With some thought, a network of these old
homes from across Malaysia, could be turned into backpacker hostels or holiday villas.
