Tone Vale Hospital, Jan 10

Me and Tumbles Popped in while we passing just to see what had happened to the hall, in short nothing.

Tone Vale opened in 1897, dispite the clock tower being inscribed 1896. Originaly named the Sommerset and Bath Asylum, it wasa compact arrow designed by Giles, Gough and Trollope. the hospital was closed in 1995 and has now been mostly demolished and replaced by a housing development, of the Remaining buildings Admin has been converted into apartments, the male sick and infirm block is 10 executive apartments, Female Sick and infirm block is unconverted and stripped back to bare brick, The main hall is unconverted and a dumping ground and the Chapel is a pub.
