Little Plumstead Hall Colony opend in 1930 within the grounds of an 18 century estate, the buildings in situ were utilised and additional buildings were added up to the 1970’s. In 1941 the hospital was approved as a “Complete Training school for Nurses for Mental Defectives”. Partial closure came in the1990s with demolition of part of the site and construction of residential houses. Parts now are being converted and there is still an open Learning Disability Inpatient Unit on the site.

Visited with Cuban and Dazza. Not many pics as interruptions and poor lighting hindered much camera work throughout our time here.

This seems like a walk in place but it's slightly risky for some reason. The villas are like Harperbury's with thier red brick, white sash windows and slate roofs. Plenty of hospital tat left behind.
