Opened 1873 Closed 1996
This is all that remains of a once large inner city hospital in the Ancoats area of Manchester. As far as I can tell, it closed in the 1990s but I could be wrong. Although a lovely building to look at, the inside is ruinous and on the verge of collapse. I have driven past many times but as I am working in Manchester this week I thought an early morning visit was needed.
The pictures are rubbish because it was still dark, I had no tripod and work clothes on :thumb Not one you see very often and in all honesty, not one to travel to see.
