Ok so Silent Hill and myself had been wanting to do an asylum or hospital as neither one of us had done one and were keen to see one.
Having seen several reports on St. Johns it looked mightily impressive and that staircase drool worthy.
So we headed down thereon Saturday along with Dark Knight (not on this forum) and met up.
We made our way in , thanks for the intel you know who, and started mooching round and taking the odd snap here and there.
Anyways about 45 mins in silent tells me there's someone else in there. so I hoped it was another urbexer and all would be well.
10 seconds later we were faced by a huge mountain masquerading as a person. I saw no camera, tripod, backpack or anything and I thought this does not bode well then he started talking and the Polish accent gave it away - yep the security guy who lives on site :(

He invited us to leave and escorted us to a gate with the occasional "this way please" In fairness to him he was very civilized and polite about it - one does hear stories of security folk being complete knobs but he was just matter of fact and polite.

so gutted that we were busted so early on after having looked forward to the place so much and wanting to shoot the staircase.
Ah well stuff happens.
